Sanarium
The Klafs Sanarium, constructed from untreated Hemlock timber offers a gentle heat experience combining low temperature and humidity infused with aromatic essence. It operates at temperatures of 46 – 60ºC with 10% – 15% humidity which creates the ideal environment in which to relax with a climate that is gentle on the cardiovascular system. This form of heat is particularly recommended for those with fragile skin or intolerance to extreme heat forms.

Sauna
This Finnish style sauna is constructed from untreated Douglas fir timber and creates a traditional Nordic thermal experience with temperatures between 80 – 90ºC creating a hot, dry environment with low humidity. The use of this type of thermal bathing dates back to Roman times and is particularly beneficial for stressed muscles and joints whilst the increased perspiration helps detoxification through the elimination of toxins.

Steam Bath
The Klafs steam room operates at a lower temperature than the sauna 43 – 46ºC with 100% humidity. Steam bathing is recognised by modern medicine for its health enhancing properties. The combined effects of gentle heat and humidity increase the circulation, relax tense muscles and soothe aches and pains. Recommended after strenuous exercise or as a means to pre-heat muscles prior to massage.

Fitness Suite

A full equipped gym using top of the range techno-gym exercise machines. Fitness suite comprises of, treadmills, cross-trainer, bikes, rowing machine, weight benches and vibration machine. You may wish to book an appointment with our personal trainer, Ryan, to gain the most out of your workout.

Aqua Spa

Hydro-Spa Pool
Heated to a soothing 32ºC to ensure maximum relaxation. Underwater massage stations target different muscle groups and areas of the body with a combination of heat, air and water, in the form of air loungers, massage jets and 4 seated Jacuzzi stations. Benefits include increased blood circulation and enhanced oxygenation to muscles and subcutaneous tissue; relief of stress and an enhanced feeling of relaxation and well-being.

Hot Tub
This six seater, hydrotherapy jet, Canadian Cedar Hot Tub is situated on a decked area within our Tranquil Spa Garden planted with aroma-therapeutic plants and herbs, providing the most spectacular views into the encircling paddocks where deer and ponies regularly graze.

Kniepps Foot Bath
This forms an integral part of the spa experience and is used to regulate the body temperature in between the thermal experiences to maximize the true spa benefits of thermal bathing. The alternate heat and cold cycles have been proven to increase the white blood count and increase immunity. This foot bath is designed for 2 people and contains essential oils and jets to massage the reflex points of the feet whilst you sit on a heated bench.

Klafs Experience Showers
Showering is an integral part of the thermal bathing experience and is essential to cool the body down and constrict the blood vessels in the most pleasurable way. Choose from a light tropical rain shower, ice rain or be brave and endure the Kneipps waterfall effect.

Swimming Pool
The Bath House Spa pool is 16m x6m and is heated to 28 degrees centigrade with a constant depth of 1.4 metres and benefits from integrated shoulder massage jets. The pool has been designed with maximum vision allowing stunning 270º views of the surrounding paddocks and forest.

Changing Rooms
The spa changing rooms have lockers for safe storage of your belongings. If you require a locker key they can be exchanged for your membership or room ID card. Hairdryers, costume spinners and amenity products (shampoo, conditioner & shower gel) are provided for your convenience.

Juice Bar

The Juice Bar serves breakfast from 7.30 am and provides a menu of freshly prepared dishes throughout the day, together with a range of health and vitality inducing juices, smoothies and herbal teas. Ingredients are sourced locally and are organic wherever possible and food is freshly prepared to the highest standard on site, so it has no distance to travel.

A low salt and low calorie seasonal menu has been created. However, our chefs appreciate that we are not all diet conscious and provide a range of scrumptious treats, delicious coffees and a selection of bottled beers, wines and champagnes. Spa Members are also able to dine in the hotel restaurant or the more relaxed Polo Bar, where cocktails can be enjoyed on the hotel terrace.
